Two countries that share such a lot of things between: language, food, traditions, and ultimately, football. This sport has turned into a common glue that unifies cultures, as we can quote the Uruguay nation pride since 1930, the forge of the very country was based on football. In the Argentinian side, football means Maradona, Messi, religion at most; people just breathe competition, it's a fundamental part of life. On the Spanish part, the Tiki-Taka playstyle is such a mark of pride for people in a country where everyone seems to keep searching for his own interest.

Spain come to this game from a very EURO-like path, which has prove the team as the toughest from defense and possession performance perspective. From a slow and quite disappointing start against Cape Verde's Underdogs contest, to finally beat the favorites to the title Mbappé's France and Ronaldo's Portugal, making sure that the rhythm of the game was only established by them.

On his counterpart, Argentina find himself in a WC final after 3 and half years once again, feeling like a very competitive, resilient and tough to beat side, but ultimately lacking some arguments to play with more comfortable and confident chances. This, nevertheless, doesn't really matter at a Mata-Mata competition, after all; Argentina is at a WC Final once again, and they mean to make football history once more.
