Côte d'Ivoire found moments of promise but ultimately fell short of the consistency needed to progress beyond the group stage.
Côte d'Ivoire experienced an inconsistent group stage, and the mixed results were not enough to go through. Their campaign featured a 0-0 draw with Portugal, a 1-3 defeat against Brazil, and a commanding 3-0 victory over DPR Korea. Despite moments of quality, it was not enough to advance, and Côte d'Ivoire's campaign ended at the first round.
